A firm believer in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, I offer homeopathic treatment to babies, toddlers, children, tweens and teenagers, as well as their parents and carers. Homeopathy is a gentle and non-invasive therapy that supports the body in healing itself. This happens through the impulse given by the remedies, which stimulate a precise reaction in the body against the symptoms that are present. It is a well-known fact that the human body has a tremendous ability to self-heal and regenerate after injuries and pathogen invasions: Homeopathy can therefore be thought of as a key that unlocks that power. Since every lock has a different key, Homeopathy is a highly individualised treatment: the headache sufferer with a sharp and localised pain in the right temple will receive a different remedy from another headache sufferer for whom the pain is dull and mainly localised in the occiput. It is safe, not having any of the side effects of conventional medications, and it can work alongside conventional medicine.
Homeopathy can be used in a wide range of condiffernet conditions, both physical and mental-emotional, acute (i.e., a self-limiting condition) and chronic (i.e., well-established complaints that have been around for a while and that are not going to be resolved by themselves). Homeopathy can support children and teenagers in their physical and mental-emotional development, and adults throughout life's challenges, and it is ideal for people who want to explore more holistic options to enhance their wellbeing.
When receiving homeopathic treatment, a real partnership is created between the patient and the homeopath. Respect, trust and confidence are essential. For this reason, I offer a free, 15-minute discovery call, through which the patient can get a sense of how I work and run my clinic, and I gain an overview of their needs and reasons for turning to Homeopathy. The first consultation lasts about 90 minutes, and it includes a thorough assessment of the patient’s wellbeing, general information about their life as well as the specifics of their presenting complaint(s). Subsequent follow-ups are shorter (up to 60 minutes), and usually follow after 2-4 weeks. I support my patients in their healing process, and empower them to take charge of their health and wellbeing through advice on self-care.
